My first week went well, the only bad thing was the rootbeer incident.
I can't imagine that alot worst could happen now that "The Incident" has happened. But I guess we'll find out. Today I went grocery shopping, still amazed at how much things cost here... Everyday in my military physical fitness class, I find that I get cotton mouth almost instantly. I have NEVER had cotton mouth so regularly and quickly, it's ridiculous. I dont have any one specific though as you can tell, so I'm just kind of throwing out what's on my mind currently. I got some creatine capsules and they direct me to take 7 at a time!!!! THAT'S CRAZY! I think ill start off with two or three.
I'm happy to find that three pancakes it 1.5 pancakes too many now.
I took photos with Liz yesterday, and they turned out terrific! I'm photoshopping some of them to be completely awesome. I offered this sort of deal to my roommate and his girlfriend and he totally wants to do it, but we have wait till she comes up from Utah again. So that's exciting. I already can't wait to come home and brag about college and act all high and mighty about life and such. I'm happy to be working out again, unfortunately I've been spoiled really well the last month or so and I have to start over, but i'm excited, I enjoy my fitness class, and things along those lines. I'm VERY grateful for that class being my last class everyday and not having a regular class afterwards like some of my classmates. A good friend of mine, Cash, (not johnny) has French after working out, and he works out hard, so I cannot fathom how he can stay remotely concious through an entire class. Well I have some science and religion I have been putting off, plus I have to read some for my guitar class, so I'm gonna roll and do that now before I get super tired. IF you have any questions please comment them and I can answer them in a post. I'd like to joke at Emily and say, "Yes, college has change a lot since the days you were in college...wait." hehehe Well, I'm sure I may not get a happy phone call about that one, but oh well. HEY! EM, maybe we can be study buddies!
ok, well, now im actually gonna go, I will write a more coherent post next time, I promise.

Heck, yeah, I'll be your study buddy! You'll just have to remind me to put my hearing aids in before we start.
Speaking of how eternally old I am, in my Myths and Legends in Literature class we had to choose a novel to do a presentation on. From our options, I chose Siddhartha (by Herman Hesse) because I read it in high school and I thought that might make it easier. Until I remembered that I read that book FIFTEEN YEARS AGO!!!! Holy crap, I have no idea how that happened! And it goes without saying that fifteen years is just about enough time that I have forgotten every single thing about the book. Except, there's a tree in it. That's all I can remember. Not too helpful.
All I can say is, Tim - get it done, and get it done fast. No need to dawdle or you'll be as old as me some day. And it's pretty embarrassing to go around campus with the walker, let me tell you.
Excuse me everybody while I get my second pair of bifocals... you know the ones that I use to see the computer monitor. As opposed to the other bifocals that I use for the 5% of my life when I'm not staring at a screen.
I'll see your reading and raise you one. I tried reading/listening to Catch 22 recently. It was so tedious to read, I couldn't believe that I actually ever enjoyed such crap! It reminds me of the Beavis and Butthead video when one of them says "yah, it sucks now but when its done it'll be cool." However it never did get cool, in my opinion. When I was a youngster, you know in my early 30's I loved it.
